Nowadays the Arctic Shamrock is a unique closed-cycle autonomous life-support system of capital construction in the world, which was erected at the 80th degree of the northern latitude. Its total area is 14,000 sq. m. The complex is fully autonomous and provides comfortable accommodation for up to 150 personnel for a duration of 18 months. The Arctic Shamrock includes living rooms, canteens, gym, cinema-concert hall, atrium, library, greenhouse and medical unit. Medin’s medical equipment and furniture is used in the medical unit of the Arctic Shamrock.
